Daddy and Mummy celebrate 4 years wedding anniversary

It was Daddy and Mummy's 4 years wedding anniversary last Friday.

Daddy treated us to a ride on the Singapore Flyer.

Yeah.. Daddy bringing us to Singapore Flyer.

My favourite drink before the ride..

The Singapore Flyer looks so big from here.

Up, up and away.

1 day I will drive on the F1 track.

Hmm, I think I can see where I stay from here.

I live over there.

Singapore's skyline at night.

"I saw this, I saw that.."

After Singapore Flyer, we went for dinner.

I love the Snow Crab and Prawns...

Seven Seas Restaurant A Poseidon Adventure

We had the an SGD80 voucher to spend at the Seven Seas Restaurant. I don't want to complain about the food because it was a surprise gift from a contest. But then I again, I hope this post will improve their standard.

Where's my food??

Let's play monster before my food comes!

In general, the presentation of the food was great but the taste was something more to be desired.

Anson's kid pizza..

How long can my cheese go?

Hmm.. Pizza...

The pizza for Anson looked good, but Anson only ate two slices.

The Seafood Basket

The Seafood Basket is priced at SGD22 on menu but under the flash of camera, you could see how much oil was used. Not much variety for the price. It felt that you were paying SGD22 worth of fried batter.

Daddy's Birani Chicken

Daddy ha's tounge was left d Birani Chicken. The Chicken was served in chunks and hidden among the rice. It had a lot of MSG though as Daddy's tongue was thirsting for water after the dinner.

Mommy's Lamb Chops

Mommy had Lamb Chops. Though she was served four pieces of Lamb Chops, it was mostly surrounded by fats and mommy didn't like that.
.
The entire meal came up to SGD78 with GST and service charge. Without the voucher, it wouldn't be value for money

Fish Slice Noodle was more filling

On the way home, Anson was a bit hungry so he had a bowl of fish slice bee hoon at the kopitiam downstairs.

Not so Happy Feet two..

But too many feet spoils the movie..

The trailer shows dancing baby Emperor Penguins, a flying "penguin", an angry walrus and a runaway krill, and that interest Anson. At the last 30 minutes, Anson's interest started to wane.

Maybe for a three year old, all the moving and dancing was something he could relate to, other than that, it was all talk.

The problem with this movie was that there were too many characters that even as an adult, you tend to get lost in the whole scheme of things.

The main plot of the movie falls on the relationship between Mumble, now a father, and his son Erik. Problem with Erik is that he is trying to find his voice or his dancing feet. Erik runs away, Mumble finds him, returns to Emperor Penguin nest only to find that the Emperor Penguin nest is now trapped by moving icebergs.

From there onwards, the movie is all about the rescue effort of the Emperor Penguin.

The movie also wanted to highlight how the little things in life connect up to result in earth shattering event, but for young children, it is extremely hard for them to connect the dots.

A movie for children should be straightforward. If the parents don't get it, neither will their children.
